This International Women’s Day, I’m reflecting on the theme “Give to Gain.” It’s a simple idea, but a powerful one.
This message means a lot to me personally, and it reflects the heart behind Victoria Stag.
My mission has always been to help curvy women feel confident enough to move their bodies and take care of their health. Because when you feel comfortable in what you wear, everything changes. You move more freely, you show up with more confidence, and you start believing in what your body is capable of.
Victoria Stag started from my own experience.
For years, I struggled to find activewear that actually worked for my body. Like many curvy women, I wanted to exercise and feel good doing it. But the reality was frustrating. Waistbands rolled down, tops rode up, and sizing rarely felt designed for real bodies.
Instead of feeling motivated, I often felt uncomfortable or self-conscious.
Eventually, I realised I wasn’t the only one feeling this way. So many women were dealing with the same challenges.
That’s when the idea for Victoria Stag was born.
Give Confidence. Gain Strength.
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that confidence is often the first step toward change. When you feel supported, physically and emotionally, it becomes easier to take that walk, join that gym class, or simply stretch and move your body after a long day. Those small actions build strength, not just physically, but mentally too.
Giving back doesn’t always mean doing something huge. Often, it’s the small things that matter most.
It could be:
- Encouraging a friend who’s starting her fitness journey
- Supporting women-led businesses
- Investing in your own wellbeing through movement and self-care
- Sharing knowledge, guidance, or encouragement with others
Every small act of support creates momentum.
The International Women’s Day 2026 campaign reminds us that generosity and reciprocity can create real change. When we contribute to the advancement of women through encouragement, advocacy, opportunity, or simply showing up for one another, we help create stronger communities.
And it often starts with something simple: believing in ourselves.
This International Women’s Day, I’m celebrating every woman who chooses herself even in small ways.
